It’s time to shift our perspective and recognize that our bodies are the only tool we have to experience life and by embracing self-acceptance and gratitude, we can free ourselves from the damaging narratives that make us feel like we need to meet unrealistic and superficial expectations.
Moving our bodies can make us confident, self-aware, and happy; it can help reduce stress and suffering. Movement as a function of joy instead of beauty is a shift in mindset that allows us to appreciate our bodies for what they are and what they can do, rather than how they compare to unsustainable beauty standards.
